The hotel website checklist for Oman and the GCC
A hotel website carries more weight than almost any other kind of business site: it has to sell a feeling, show rooms and rates, and convert a traveller who is comparing you against a dozen tabs. Whether you run a coastal resort in Musandam, a city business hotel in Muscat, or serviced apartments anywhere in the GCC, here is the checklist your site should pass.
Rooms, rates and availability made obvious
A guest wants three things fast: what the rooms look like, what they cost, and whether they can stay on their dates. Show your room types with real photos and clear rates, and make an enquiry or booking request effortless from every page. Even without a full booking engine, a strong "check availability" or enquiry flow captures travellers who are ready to commit.
Photography that sells the stay
Travellers buy with their eyes. Bright, genuine photos of your rooms, your pool, your view and your restaurant do more than any description — and generic stock images do the opposite, quietly signalling that the real thing may disappoint. Show the property honestly and at its best.
The details that answer a traveller’s doubts
Guests have practical questions, and a good site answers them before they have to ask: your location and how to reach it, check-in and check-out times, amenities, parking, family and accessibility options, and your cancellation terms. Answering these clearly removes the friction that makes a hesitant traveller close the tab.
Bilingual, fast, and built to be found
Your guests are a mix of Gulf nationals, regional travellers and international visitors, so proper Arabic and English is essential — each reading naturally, not machine-translated. The site must load fast, especially on mobile, and be built to be found when someone searches for a hotel in your area. See our hotel and resort demos for how this looks, and how we build and maintain the real thing across Oman and the GCC.
